5 Reasons Why "Healthier" Doesn’t Mean Healthy

A question I often hear is, "Isn’t vaping healthier than smoking?" My answer is always, "Not necessarily." Here’s why:

  1. "Healthier" doesn’t mean healthy. Reducing harm doesn’t make something safe. For example, ingesting less of a harmful substance is still harmful. Plus, liquid nicotine is highly toxic.
  2. High nicotine concentration. Many vaping products contain significantly higher nicotine levels than other tobacco products, increasing dependency.
  3. Exposure to harmful particles. Studies show that regular vaping can expose users to toxic metals and plastic particles, posing serious health risks.
  4. Dual use undermines quitting. Many former smokers turn to vaping but end up using both, counteracting their efforts to quit entirely.
